Maintenance of air source heat pump hot water heater equipment

What should be paid attention to before using an air energy heat pump unit?


1. Check the piping system:

Check if all valves in the system are open.

Before the unit operates, the drainage pipe must be checked. If the drainage pipe is blocked, foreign objects must be removed to ensure smooth drainage of condensate.

2. Check the power distribution system:

Check whether the power supply voltage is normal, whether the screws of each distribution component are loose, whether the circuit is distributed according to the distribution circuit diagram, and whether the bottom wire is connected properly.

Check the hot water unit: Check whether all fastening screws and mechanical screws on the hot water unit are loose. After power on, check whether the communication indicator light on the control panel is flashing normally and whether the pressure gauge is normal.

3. Additionally, special attention should be paid to:

Only after turning on the power switch of the air energy heat pump unit for more than 12 hours can it start running. In addition, when it is necessary to shut down for a short period of time of about one day and night, please do not cut off the power supply (this is to heat the electric shaft heater to avoid forced start of the compressor).

Be careful not to block the air inlet and outlet of the air energy heat pump unit. Otherwise, it may cause a decrease in the performance of the unit or the failure of the startup protection device to operate.

Maintenance of hybrid heat pump water heater



1、 What should be paid attention to before using an air energy heat pump unit?

1) Check the piping system:

2、What should be paid attention to during the debugging and operation of air energy heat pump units?

Observe whether the water outlet temperature is normal (the water outlet temperature is basically consistent with the displayed temperature).

After the compressor starts, use auditory judgment to determine the operation of the unit, while paying attention to whether the system pressure is normal.

The parameters of the remote controller have been set to default values at the factory, and users should adjust them carefully if necessary.

The engineering machine also needs to verify whether the circulating water flow rate meets the requirements based on the values in the "parameter table" (see the user manual for details).

3、 Daily maintenance matters

1)The main power supply needs to operate normally for 24 hours, so it is necessary to conduct monthly security checks on the leakage switch of the main power supply.

2) Pay attention to whether the microcomputer control instrument displays normally. The temperature difference control instrument generally has an upper limit of 7 ℃ and a lower limit of 3 ℃. The working time and temperature of the air energy host should be adjusted according to actual needs.

3) If the control panel of the air energy heat pump host displays a fault code or beeps, please record the fault code number and refer to the manual to troubleshoot.

4) The Y-shaped filter is regularly cleaned, and the waterproof cover of the water pump effectively protects against rainwater immersion. Manually turn to check if the water pump is stuck.

5)It is best to keep the air and hot water equipment area away from areas with frequent human activities to avoid being affected by noise or accidents.

6)Air energy water heater refrigerant filling and recovery (household type)

When a household hot water unit needs to increase or recover refrigerant, the specific operations are as
follows:

a.electric heat pump water heater refrigerant filling

b.Follow the operation steps of "emptying" and use a composite pressure gauge to connect the low-pressure valve maintenance joint of the outdoor unit to the cold coal tank through a rubber hose, in order to completely exhaust the air in the pipe.

c. Run the hot water unit in the "cooling" state (i.e. working with chilled water, compressor, external fan, and four-way valve), open the refrigerant tank valve for filling, and close the composite pressure gauge and refrigerant tank valve when the low pressure gauge on the composite pressure gauge shows around 0.5Mpa.

(Note: Before switching back to normal "heating" mode, it is necessary to remove the hose of the composite pressure gauge from the low-pressure valve maintenance joint to avoid high-pressure charging the low-pressure gauge.)

d.heat pump hot water heater refrigerant recovery. Firstly, pay attention to operating the air powered hot water unit in a "cooling" state (i.e., cooling water, compressor, external fan, and four-way valve working); Secondly, use an Allen wrench to first close the high-pressure valve of the outdoor unit, and after about 15 seconds (when the sound of the compressor becomes dull), immediately close the low-pressure valve.

7. Central heat pump geyser refrigerant charging. In the main engine, the needle valve on the compressor return pipe position (low-pressure pipe) can be used for refrigerant charging.

4、 Regular inspection and cleaning of the unit

What should a professional master regularly check?


Firstly, it is necessary to regularly check whether the power supply and electrical system wiring of the air energy water heater unit are secure, and whether there are any abnormal electrical components. If there are any, they should be dealt with and replaced in a timely manner.

Secondly, it is necessary to regularly check whether the water supply system, water tank safety valve, liquid level controller, and exhaust device of the air energy water heater are working properly to avoid air entering the system causing a decrease in water circulation, thereby affecting the heating capacity and reliability of the unit operation. At the same time, it cannot be ignored to check whether the water pump and water pipeline valves are working properly, and whether the water pipeline and water pipe joints are leaking.

Thirdly, it is necessary to regularly check the working condition of various components of the air energy water heater unit, check the internal pipeline joints and inflation valves for oil stains, and ensure that there is no refrigerant leakage in the unit. When the actual outlet temperature of the air source heat pump water heater is inconsistent with the displayed value on the unit control panel, it can be detected whether the temperature sensing device is in good contact. This frequent inspection of the product not only ensures its efficient and normal operation, but also greatly extends the product's service life.

What should be done to clean and descale the air energy heat pump unit?


After long-term operation of the air energy heat pump hot water unit, calcium oxide or other minerals will deposit on the heat transfer surface of the water side heat exchanger. When there is a lot of scaling on the heat transfer surface, these substances will affect the heat transfer performance, leading to increased power consumption, high exhaust pressure (or low suction pressure). In addition, air energy heat pump units may also experience corrosion.

As for the corrosion problem, the simplest and easiest solution is to change the material composition of the pipeline and heat exchanger surface. The scaling problem currently involves physical and chemical descaling. Below is an analysis of several common methods for descaling air source heat pumps.

1. Acid cleaning and descaling

Due to the unique nature of the water supply object, the water supply cannot be interrupted during pickling, unlike the low concentration uninterrupted pickling of boiler hot water. So, this method is not feasible.

2. Demineralized water descaling

The scale removal effect of softened water is significant, and it is generally applied in hospitals with high requirements for water quality and water supply continuity, such as reverse osmosis pure water systems and central air conditioning circulating cooling water. The disadvantage is that it requires additional equipment and regular salt replenishment, which increases the complexity of operation and high maintenance costs. This method is not very practical.

3. High frequency electronic descaling instrument for descaling

This method requires cutting the pipeline during installation, and the electrodes are prone to adhering to suspended solids in the water, causing system failure.
